Much detail has been put into the game to ensure that you are able to create any kind of Transport network you would like. There are mods out there which completely revamp the vehicles so you can have many vehicles to choose from, as the base game is a little lackluster in that aspect.

The graphics, although dated, of course, honestly still have a good art style which is still nice to look at, even though they are more retro. There are graphical mods out there too which update the base game graphics, but if you are using mods you are better off with the default ones, since I haven't seen graphical revamps for many mods ones that add more vehicles and such.

There is algorithms and such which actually simulate realistic physics for trains too. You can even have a setting to where players can buy stocks of other companies if you'd like. The devs are also great, and constantly are working to update the game, and make even more further improvements. The only thing I wish for is if they could make dynamic inflation based on the starting year. Of course you can just change the max loan, but that's the problem, it really should be fixed.
