El nino effect on stock market
Periodically, trade winds near the equator weaken or reverse direction, forcing a huge current of warm water that seesaws back and forth across the Pacific Ocean. Evidence shows that this weather pattern may have occurred for thousands of years, but scientific study of this weather pattern is rather recent.

The further west the warming, the further west the Atlantic hurricanes tend to drift…right up the U. Southern California and Florida back into Texas see more rain and cooler temperatures. Fishing in southern California becomes abysmal, as the warmer water temperatures eliminate smaller fish that larger fish eat…so the larger fish tend to migrate. Storms generated in Florida tend to travel north along the eastern seaboard, and the Great Lakes and Rocky Mountain areas usually are warmer and dryer during the winter months.

How El Nino affects the markets
Droughts in the Western Pacific Islands and Indonesia as well as in Mexico and Central America developed, creating widespread unrest. Commercial fishing will undergo some changes this winter, as fish migrate with changing water patterns. This fish normally is found in waters near Mexico or southern California. Another dry winter in the Rocky Mountains could be a devastating omen for a horrific western fire season.
Additionally, another low snow pack year will definitely affect water table levels as well as tourism — especially skiing and water sports from Colorado into California.
